Dr. Thurman is a Dallas native who attended medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center –  Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and she did her anesthesia residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.  She completed a pediatric anesthesia fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.  She enjoys pediatric and ENT cases.  She hails from a large family and has a sweet, goofy goldendoodle named Yeti.  She enjoys traveling, helping with medical missions, working out and spending time with family.  She is also passionate about music – she plays piano and when singing has perfect pitch!
